This is a mirror, but not in the traditional sense as its refective surface is relegated under a layer of glass, which transcends its original function. This project is imagination at its best. What you get is an item that captures the single image and refects its thousand sides whilst magnifying and enhancing the room. Every module consists of 22 extra clear glass elements processed separately. These elements are then placed “headfrst” side by side on the mirror, glued together and UV-welded.
Designer Information
Tonelli manufactures furnishing items and designer objects in glass. The company was founded in the mid-1980s and is the result of a deep and lasting passion for research and experimentation. Tradition and technology have been brought together to forge a company philosophy, the very heart of which is based on the value given to design, and therefore, to the designer, when it comes to enhancing the characteristics of this unique element: glass.
